Construction

The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007state:- Regulation 2 “contractor” means any person (including a Client, principal contractor or other person referred to in the Regulations) who, in the course or furtherance of a business, carries out or manages construction work.
Today all commercial construction works come under the umbrella of the CDM Regulations. Those projects that are going to last more than thirty days or 500 man days are notifiable to the HSE.
